Planning The Art Craft Center

Art Craft Center

I spent one week in Ollantaytambo –Rumira setting up the school and planning the Art Craft Center.

In this photo you’ll find the children of Rumira and two wonderful Waldorf teachers: Lourdes Jibaja and Lucia Justo, and my self.

The lot just behind us is the location where Coti’s Art Craft Center is being built.

This is the same location as the prior photo. Right behind the small church we can appreciate the structure of Coti’s Art Craft Center (July 2006). TThe photo on the right shows Rumira’s children and Coti’s Center in the background (June 2007).

CARLA’S FINAL JOURNEY

Carla

Carla left us on October 25, 2005 right after her incredible journey back to her homeland Cusco-Peru.

She didn’t go empty handed to the heavens; before departing, with the help and love of Daniel her fiance and her sister Monica, she decided to go to Cusco where she was born to bring her inspiring great spirit and love and paid homage to the children and the community of Rumira. She met with the villagers, the architect, construction crew and didn’t missed a beat coordinating and planning all the necessary steps in order to accomplish her last adventure: the Art Craft Center. In all her fragility she brought gifts, cloth and medicine for more than 50 children.
